Helpful & trustworthy Buying a house in another country can be a stressful experience because of how things work in different countries and also the language barrier, since we didn’t speak or understand enough French to really understand all the technicalities and legal terms. But with Leggett, and especially Elske Koelstra who went out of her way to help us, we felt completely safe and secure, she really helped us and explained.everything we needed to know. Now we are the happy and proud owners of a beautiful little house with a large garden, so thank you Elske and Leggett for making our dream come true!

We are SO happy!

It has taken us over a year to find our French home! Eight months of viewing dozens of potential properties but none were quite right. Last December we viewed one such property with Alison who clearly took on board what we were looking for as she sent us the details for the house we have now owned for a whole week! We viewed it in May, and have just completed,! It’s our perfect place. Ticked all of our boxes - no work to do, an acre of land, rural but close to life, move in condition with potential for a project or two if we want to AND! A pool! We are so very pleased and happy with our house and the whole experience of buying in France with Alison helping us to realise our dream. She’s been wonderful even took delivery of our starling for us before we had our address!

Excellent estate agent

The service I received from Simone was absolutely amazing and I could never have managed without her but your fees are astronomical so whilst I was very satisfied with the service I doubt I would recommend your company as you are way too expensive.
