Could not fault the service

Selling our property in France was made very straight forward and easy by Jane Healey. She went over and above her job in our view. And she ensured that everything was done at each step. From the very first meeting, to taking the photographs and writing up the description, to overseeing the surveys, communications with the buyers, ourselves, the contracts department, the notaire, Jane was there ensuring that everything went smoothly - which it did. We cannot believe how easy she made things and it was reassuring to know that Jane was on the ground sorting everything out as we were remote from the location of the property. If all of Leggett's Agents are as thorough and professional as Jane then they can't go wrong. Not forgetting Alex in the Contracts Department, who answered our questions promptly and honestly. Would thoroughly recommend Leggetts particularly Jane.

Initial response good

Initial response and service very good. As time progressed we had no interest in the property and therefore little contact. Eventually, we did receive an offer but the communication was limited.

No complaints, fabulous Immoblier

Was unsure as Leggett seem to have a bit of a stranglehold on British buyers BUT our particular Immoblier is fabulous, so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely nice. She kept the whole purchase moving along ( there were a few hold ups due to legal hoops to jump through) and helped us with any queries , replying when really she should have been putting her feet up!

Excellent Advice, Execution and All Around Service

Mike Goldsmith represented us in the sale of a house we have owned in France for over 30 years. Mike was highly responsive and full of useful advice to execute the sale quickly. After we had reviewed comparables and I decided on a price, Mike was able to generate a full price offer on the day BEFORE the actual listing. This offer subsequently resulted in a successful closing of the sale. Mike displayed a great sense of who the likely buyers might be and how best to position the house for them. He advised and arranged for all of the requisite inspections, and facilitated an introduction to LumonPay for the ultimate conversion and transfer of the sale proceeds. We felt very well supported throughout the entire process and were pleased with the result. I have already recommended Mike to several colleagues.

The perfect support and experience for first time buyers in France

We met James Tulloch a year ago when we enquired about buying a house in the Pyrenees Orientale. He showed us 2 properties after our brief. The second was perfect and we made an offer the next day. Over the following months James was always at our side during this exciting, but scary and daunting process. He answered all of our questions as well as many others that we hadn't thought of. He also introduced us to many useful agencies and people so that the whole process ran smoothly, from money exchange, French banks, home insurance to builders, electricians. He also went way beyond his role to ensure personally that the house was cleared and cleaned to the agreement. And even now after 6 months he still answers the odd question that we might have. I cannot recommend Leggetts enough. In particular James Tulloch. And if you ever visit the Pyrenees Orientale to buy a house then you might be lucky enough to meet him.
