Caroline is a star

Having moved overseas, on assignments, several times before, we know about many of the pitfalls, but this was our first permanent overseas relocation and we could not have negotiated the purchase as "smoothly" as we did without Caroline's (Leggett) help. She was a star from start to finish and, even now, is still helping with finding trades people, setting up services and navigating the day-to-day challenges that starting a new life in a foreign country brings. Quick response to our request to put the house on the market with photos and video taken on the same day Benefit to us of an English speaking adviser Great help with diagnostics, drainage assessment and subsequent devis Showed visitors around in our absence during Covid pandemic. Took the house off the market in the winter without our agreement Some misunderstanding of purchaser as cash buyer when she needed to sell two properties Successful sale within a year

Very helpful and positive

We have been trying to sell our apartment for a while, but we're delighted to say that, through the consistent efforts of our agent the sale has now been completed. We have been very pleased with the level of communication throughout. We struggle to understand the French system but our agent has smoothed things over for us, particularly the Notaire side of things. It would have been so difficult for us to keep up with this!
